Above is the link to my final podcast on Audiomack. For those who don’t know, my podcast is called, “I want to tell…“ I felt that I wanted to create a podcast that focuses on the connection aspect of my blog. With this being an asynchronous course it’s hard to feel connected. Sometimes when I am responding to assignments it occurs to me that the other names on the screen are actually real people, my classmates. It’s so easy to depersonify each other went online, and even when walking by strangers in the street. I wanted this podcast to celebrate humanity and the complexity of each and every person. Therefore the basis of my podcast would be that I would interview random people and ask them to tell any story that they are just dying to tell. It could be gossip, it could be very personal, it could be fun facts, whatever they wanted. So for this episode, I interviewed my cousin, Danielle Evangelista. She is 30 years old, originally from New Jersey, but currently living in New York, a full-time teacher and part-time musician, and she is absolutely obsessed with her wife. The story she decided to tell was how her and her wife’s relationship started and how she knew that she was the one. I hope after listening to this podcast, you walk through life thinking about how every stranger on the street has people for whom they are bursting at the seams to talk about. The podcast begins with some short intro, music and me reiterating what the episode will entail, then it gets into the interview portion for most of the time time, then at the end there is a short outro with more music. If you find Danielle to be an interesting person, feel free to follow her music here: https://open.spotify.com/artist/63aqO1r851excAijw303xY?si=GUiFL06DSO6NIhVImbfjVw . Also feel free to reach out to me via instagram or public email and tell me any emotions that came up or thoughts you had when listening to the episode.
